Rob está formado como fisioterapeuta y entrenador personal, y tiene más de 20 años de experiencia en acondicionamiento físico.

Ha sido pionero en el ejercicio al aire libre desde 2008 cuando fundó Standing-Strong Outdoor Fitness. Standing-Strong fue la primera compañía en introducir entrenamiento ajustable y funcional en el ambiente al aire libre. En 2010, Standing-Strong era líder del mercado en acondicionamiento físico al aire libre en Benelux y tenía múltiples soluciones patentadas.

En 2014, Standing-Strong fue asumido por KOMPAN y en 2015 Rob Boogmans se unió a KOMPAN para iniciar el KOMPAN Fitness Institute y desarrollar las nuevas líneas de productos de fitness al aire libre.
